Torrie Wilson
was in St. Louis today to help promote
the new UPN affiliate WRBU 46 and her Playboy
pictorial. Will be airing the full interview this
Tuesday night on The Stranglehold, but wanted to
forward along some of her comments if you'd like to
use them on 1wrestling.
By the way, she was very down to earth and easy to
talk with. Would have never guessed that she caught a
5 a.m. plane to come do the media tour--very
professional.
On the transition from WWE Diva to Playboy
Covergirl...
"It's been crazy. It's kind of been a whirlwind lately
for me, but I can definitely tell a difference in the
amount of people that recognize me now just from being
in Playboy. It's a whole new demographic for me. I'm
having a blast and it's definitely helping my
character on wrestling...
Reaction from Billy Kidman on her posing in Playboy...
"He's been really supportive. He was a little nervous
at first, obviously, just like any soon-to-be husband
would be. He was a little nervous about the reaction
from "the boys" if they would tease, but everyone
has
been very respectful towards him and he understands.
He's very comfortable with the pictorial. He didn't
feel like anything was out of line and was tastefully
done. He got to look at the pictures before they were
in the magazine so he could approve them.
On how current push affects relationship with
Kidman...
"We have a really good relationship that way. Part
of
the reason that I love him so much is that he does not
have an ego. He really doesn't care if he wasn't on
TV, he's still doing what he loves for a living. And
it's actually harder for me, to know what a big star
he was in WCW and now he's not really used as much.
But he put it perfectly the other day... he said 'I
don't have to be on TV to feel good about myself.'
He's very supportive. Very supportive.
On the kiss with Dawn Marie...
"Stephanie (McMahon) was there, she was the one
directing it, so that kind of eased our minds a little
bit. We drank two bottles of champagne--just to ease
the nerves. Basically, we'd walk through the whole
thing and just skip the kiss and save that for the
cameras. We ended up having to take it seven
times...It just wasn't turning out right. They wanted
to make sure to get clear I was hesitant about doing
it. So, it was hard because it was acting--just have
to re-do it and re-do it. You know, it wasn't bad. I
didn't have to tongue her or anything. It was like a
movie-kiss.
More of Torrie's comments, including her thoughts
about the kiss from Sable, are also posted on
www.TheStranglehold.com . The full interview will air
this Tuesday night on The Stranglehold, which airs
from 7-9pm on KSLG-1380am in St. Louis.
